Design your way to glory in Sagrada: Artisans, a legacy campaign game from Floodgate Games

Floodgate Games has certainly had success with their game Sagrada, designed by Adrian Adamescu and Daryl Andrews, with artwork by Peter Wocken. Since the game was released in 2017, there have been a 5-6 player expansion and two expansions in “The Great Facades” line, Passion and Life, as well as an upcoming third expansion, Glory.

And now, currently running on Kickstarter is the campaign for Sagrada: Artisans, a legacy-style, campaign game of dice drafting and stained-glass window coloring. In Sagrada: Artisans, each player is a family competing to chronicle their construction of the cathedral windows over several generations, with each window presenting new challenges and discoveries. The campaign plays over 10 scenarios and can go longer if you include the window pattern booster pack.

Sagrada: Artisans comes with 15 envelopes to unlock, containing dozens of new cards and over 100 stickers, as well as three crates that will add even more new components. The Kickstarter campaign also includes multiple ways that backers can participate, such as a stain-glass window design contest, and a box cover coloring contest. Backers can vote for their favorites and four winners from each contest will get a free, deluxe, wooden dice tower designed by DogMight.

Sagrada: Artisans plays 2-4 players, ages 13+ and has an estimate playtime of 60 minutes per game. The Kickstarter is scheduled to end on September 30th 2022 and the title is estimated to be shipped to backers in June 2023.
