D&D Adventure System is getting an expansion from WizKids
WizKids is releasing Ghosts of Saltmarsh, an expansion for the Dungeons and Dragons Adventure System board games. The Ghosts of Saltmarsh requires one of the standalone D&D Adventure System games to play for you to use heroes from. One to five players can dive into an overarching campaign or standalone scenarios in and around the coastal village of Saltmarsh. The expansion comes in two versions, a standard version, and a premium version. In the premium version, the included 8 Sahuagin miniatures are prepainted; they are unpainted in the standard version. Two of the eight miniatures depict the new villans introduced in the expansion. Ghosts of Saltmarsh also includes a twist on the tile exploration of the Adventure System, in that some scenarios involve a set map of six double-sized tiles depicting the village of Saltmarsh. The campaign incorporates monsters from all previous Adventure System games via tokens. For any of the Adventure System games that you own, you can substitute miniatures from those games for the tokens in Ghosts of Saltmarsh.
