Cryo Coming Soon

Z-Man Games has announced its latest game, Cryo.  The game is designed by Tom Jolly and Luke Laurie, the same design team responsible for the critically acclaimed Manhattan Project: Energy Empire.  The artwork for the game is provided by Bree Lindsoe and Samuel Shimota.  The game plays 2-4 players, ages 14 and up, in 60-90 minutes.

In Cryo, players are on a colony ship whose mission has gone all wrong.  Now trapped on a cold, inhospitable planet, factions are fighting for control.  Each player is a separate faction competing for underground caverns, scavenging for resources, and fighting to keep their remaining crewmates who are stuck in cryostasis.  The game uses hand management through the use of multi-use cards as well as worker placement as its primary mechanisms.
