Continue the Journey into Terraforming Mars

Stronghold Games has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition called Ares Expedition: Discovery · Foundations · Crisis, a 3-in-1 expansion pack.  The new expansions are designed by the original game’s designers, Sydney Engelstein, Jacob Fryxelius, and Nick Little. The artwork is provided by Nio Mendoza.  The game is now for 1-6 players, thanks to the Foundations expansion, which adds the capability of playing with up to 6.  It takes about an hour to play for those over age 14. You must have the base game to play these expansions.

Ares Expedition: Discovery introduces awards and milestones to the game as well as upgraded phase cards, wild tags, and a draft variant.  Ares Expedition: Foundations increases the player count of the base game from 4 players to 6 players.  It also presents an infrastructure track as well as 20 new corporation cards. Ares Expedition: Crisis introduces a full cooperative mode for up to 4 players with 4 co-op specific corporation cards.  

At the time of this writing, the Kickstarter campaign for the Ares Expedition: Discovery · Foundations · Crisis expansion has about 2 weeks to go, but is already fully funded.  For further information on the expansion, including video previews and a downloadable rulebook, be sure to check out the Kickstarter page here.
