CMON.... War of the Ring.... Dune...

CMoN (or is it pronounced C'MoN?) has announced Dune: War for Arrakis, which will launch to Kickstarter later in 2022. It is designed by Francesco Nepitello and Marco Maggi, who are best known for designing a little game called War of the Ring. It certainly helps that Francesco Nepitello is currently CMON’s Head of IP and RPG.

Dune: War for Arrakis is an asymmetrical strategy game where players maneuver their troops around the planet, fighting for control. Players can take the roles of the Fremen, Fedaykin, or Sardaukar, as they mine spice and battle Sandworms. The game features an action dice system and event cards that bring forward the Dune story every time. And of course, it will have a TON of awesome art and minis based on the Dune books. 

Dune: War for Arrakis is being published by CMoN in conjunction with Legendary Entertainment, Herbert Properties LLC, Genuine Entertainment, and Gale Force Nine.
