Imperium Classics and Legends

Osprey Games has announced Imperium: Classics and Imperium: Legends, two standalone, combinable civilization deck-building games. Each version contains eight asymmetric historical factions to choose between, as well as a solo mode for each civilization to be your opponent. Imperium: Classics contains the Carthaginian, Celt, Greek, Macedonian, Persian, Roman, Scythian, and Viking civilizations. Imperium: Legends contains the Arthurian, Atlantian, Egyptian, Mauryan, Minoan, Olmec, Qin, and Utopian civilizations. In Imperium, 1-4 players navigate the traditional civ tropes of scientific and cultural advancements, fending off threats of attack, managing unrest, and expansion. Games can include factions from either Classics or Legends, with the Legends factions generally being more unusual and complex mechanically.

Both versions of Imperium are designed by Nigel Buckle and Dávid Turczi, with art by Mihajlo Dimitrievski. Osprey Games anticipates a May 2021 release for both Imperium: Classics and Imperium: Legends.
