Can You Solve Them All?

WizKids has announced Detective Rummy, a new take on Mike Fitzgerald’s classic Mystery Rummy series of games.  Detective Rummy is designed by Ralph H. Anderson and Mike Fitzgerald.  The game plays 2-4 players, ages 14 and up, and takes 30-45 minutes to play.

In Detective Rummy, the players are detectives trying to solve a series of 7 criminal cases and accrue the most fame.  The 7 cases can be approached in two different ways, either Campaign Mode or Case Mode.  In Campaign Mode, the cases are played in order from 1 to 7.  In Case Mode, only cases 2 to 6 are played, each as a standalone game and they do not need to be played in sequential order.  According to the news release for the game, “The game also has a ton of replayability – the new Game Changer cards featured in each case are discovered in a different order (if at all) each time you play, so cases will never resolve the same way twice! You can play both the campaign mode or the individual cases as many times as you like!”
