The Boys Are Back in Town
1First Games, the sister company of 1First Comics, has launched a Kickstarter campaign for a game based on the IP of the same name currently showing on Amazon Prime, The Boys, which is under license by Dynamite Entertainment. The Boys: This Is Going To Hurt is a competitive game designed by Jon Levin, Nick Accardi, and Josh Stilts with artwork provided by Nick Accardi, Darick Robertson, and Tony Arvina. The game is for 1-5 players, ages 17 and up, and plays in 1-2 hours.
The Boys: This Is Going To Hurt is an action point allowance, resource management game in which the players, representing CIA agents, are moving their characters from location to location, seeking out resources on the black market so that they can recruit more characters to their side, beating other players in battle, and accomplishing missions, all in an effort to beat Homelander.
The fully-funded Kickstarter campaign for The Boys: This Is Going To Hurt has about a week to go at the time of this writing. The campaign includes a bunch of unlocked stretch goals, retail and deluxe pledge levels, as well as add ons. There are several videos on the Kickstarter page showing how the game plays. If this game sounds like it is up your alley, be sure and check it out here.
