Bezier Games announced 3 new titles for 2020. Silver Coin, the 3rd in the Silver series, and two new strategy titles, Whistle Mountain, and Maglev Metro.

Silver Coin adds a silver coin token with a flip power, fourteen new roles, and new combos which focus on flipping and removing cards in this 2-4 player game. Silver Coin builds on Silver’s card-shedding mechanism, and Silver Bullet’s interactive cards. Silver Coin is expected to release at Origins 2020.

Whistle Mountain is a new worker placement, strategy title, designed by Scott Caputo, designer of Whistle Stop, and Luke Laurie, designer of Manhattan Project: Energy Empire. This new, stand-alone game takes place in the sky with blimps, dreadnoughts, and hot air balloons. The game has 2-4 players invest in new technologies and build arrays of scaffolds and machines deep in the Rocky Mountains, while also upgrading abilities and collecting resources. The mountain’s melting snow causes the water below to rise and threaten workers as the board changes. Resources gathered also changes depending on what players build, and players have to choose between choosing new abilities and upgrading airships and workers. Whistle Mountain is expected to release at Gen Con 2020.

Maglev Metro, designed by Ted Alspach (known for Suburbia, and Castles of Mad King Ludwig), has players immersed in a subway-themed strategy game, for 1-4 players, set in the near future. Players makes use of state-of-the-art magnetic levitation technology to build a metropolitan subway system to replace outdated Manhattan and Berlin systems. There is a focus on efficiency as players attempt to transport their passengers to arrive at their destinations first in this pickup and deliver, tile-laying, engine-building game. Transparent tiles allow routes to overlap other players’ tracks, as they connect stations. Robots can upgrade and adjust players’ abilities to score more points. The game includes two unique maps, with more expected in 2021, and will be released at Essen Spiel 2020.
