Be the King of the Pirates in Glory Islands
Rio Grande Games has announced a new racing game, Glory Islands. The game is designed by Arve D. Fühler, who has designed such games as Monasterium and Pagoda. The artwork for the game is supplied by Harald Lieske. Glory Islands supports 2-4 players, ages 14 and up, and takes 30-45 minutes to play.
Glory Islands is a simultaneous play game in which the players are playing sailing cards from their hands. Each of the sailing cards define the turn order, how far ships can move on the board, and where a player’s pirates may be placed on the board. There are bonuses for where the pirates are placed on the board. By outwitting their opponents, a player will win the race to complete the route between the islands and win the game.
According to the game’s page on the Rio Grande Games website, Glory Islands is “coming soon.” For further information including a downloadable rulebook, be sure and check here.
