Another Expansion Coming for Dungeon Mayhem
Wizards of the Coast has announced a second expansion coming for Dungeon Mayhem. This expansion, Dungeon Mayhem: Monster Madness, follows on the heels of Dungeon Mayhem: Battle for Baldur's Gate, which was released in 2019. The base game and both expansions were designed by Jordan Comar and Roscoe Wetlaufer. Unlike the base game, which played 2-4 players, the new expansion goes up to 6 players.
Dungeon Mayhem is a highly interactive card game featuring hand management and player elimination in which the players are adventurers seeking to outdo each other and collect the most treasure. The expansion, Dungeon Mayhem: Monster Madness, allows the players to play as one of six D&D monsters rather than as heroes. The players might charm their enemies or crush them, depending on which monster they choose to play. Like the base game the expansion is highly interactive, allowing the players to steal cards from the others in the game, barter with dragons, and do other nefarious deeds. The expansion works with both the base game and the first expansion.
