Star Wars: Empire vs. Rebellion
Announced in June, this new two player card game will continue the struggle between the Rebellion and the Galactic Empire. This is a fast-paced, strategy game of card and resource management. Players will use resources and their heroes to control the outcome of key events.
Star Wars LCG: Between the Shadows Deluxe
Also announced in June, this deluxe expansion will contain twenty-six new objective sets and two special, “Limit 1 per objective deck” sets.
Star Wars Dice Bags
Previously announced as well, these themed dice bags are 6.25″ x 9″, each featuring Star Wars imagery on black velour and seals with a polypropylene drawstring.
Fantasy Flight Games announced the second force pack in the Rogue Squadron cycle, Draw Their Fire. Continuing the theme, “ace pilots and the starships they fly,” the objective sets, fate cards, and new starships bring it to the edge battles.
Draw Their Fire is expected to release fourth quarter 2014.
Fantasy Flight Games announced Ready for Takeoff, the first pack in their upcoming cycle, Rogue Squadron, for Star Wars: The Card Game.
Star Wars: The Card Game is a living card game published in 2012 and designed by Eric Lang. There have been two cycles, Hoth & Echoes of the Force, each containing six force pack expansions. The Rogue Squadron Cycle is kicked off with Ready for Takeoff and will be delivered in a new, plastic packaging.
In this first force pack, vehicles and pilots as well as new mechanics for both will be featured for both the Rogue Squadron and Black Squadron. One new keyword is the Pilot (X) ability. These pilots can be played from player’s hand as an enhancement on friendly vehicle.
Ready for Takeoff will contain the regular compliment of ten objective sets and cards for both sides of the galaxy. Expected release is fourth quarter 2014.

In this deluxe expansion, you’ll find twenty-six new objective sets, giving you two copies each of twelve distinct sets and one copy apiece of two “Limit 1 per objective deck” sets. Although the expansion is focused on the Jedi and Scum and Villainy affiliations, every affiliation will find cards to use in this expansion. Two brand-new fate cards bring new tension to every edge battle, while new versions of iconic characters like Luke Skywalker join the fight alongside new heroes and villains, such as Prince Xizor and Talon Karrde.
