Cool Mini or Not has a big batch of new products coming very soon. Announced via press release, CMON has updated their release schedule to show a large number of titles all being available for retail in time for Christmas. With such a wide variety of games suitable for players of all preferences, it’s safe to say this is one publisher ready to please for the holidays. The following list of games are all slated to release on November 23rd:
- Narcos, the cooperative board game based on the hit Netflix original, pits players as characters from the show trying to manage a growing narcotics empire.
- Newton, one of the hottest euro-games of the year, has players take on the role of young scientists following in the footsteps of the greatest minds of 17th century by traveling Europe, studying, earning money, developing new tools for the pursuit of knowledge.
- Both versions of Railroad Ink, a striking roll-and-write challenging players to build networks on an ever shrinking dry-erase board of options. Each version includes two unique expansions, and both versions can be combined to mix up the options and the fun.
- The Grizzled, Armistice edition, is the new CMON re-release of the favorite cooperative game now featuring a campaign mode and pre-painted miniatures.
- 5 new products for A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game. A Night’s Watch Starter Set brings many of the brave and grizzled watchers of the wall to the table, and they pave the way for 4 new add-on packs – The Sworn Brothers, the Ranger Hunters, the Stark Outriders, and the Lannister Halberdiers.
Victorian Masterminds, on the other hand, is an exception and is instead slated to release January 25th, 2019. The hotly anticipated game from Eric Lang and Antoine Bauza where players take on the roles of famous villains attempting to realize their nefarious plans is only a few months away yet I’m positive the wait is well worth it. Of course all dates listed here are subject to change, which is par for the course as many of the titles listed here have had their street dates revised at least once before. If you’re interested in learning more about any of these releases, or further release updates from CMON, be sure to check out their website for announcements and details.

Stuffed Fables is a unique adventure game in which players take on the roles of brave stuffies seeking to save the child they love from a scheming, evil mastermind. Players roll and assign color-coded dice to perform a wide variety of actions, from daring melee attacks, to leaping across conveyor belts, or steering a racing wagon down a peril-filled hill.
StoryBoard games will come with a large storybook that, when opened, will have one page acting as a the board for the game while the opposite page will act as a rules reference and story guide. Stories will play out over multiple adventures, with each adventure moving through multiple pages from the immersive Storybook.
Playtime is listed at 60-90 minutes for 2-4 players with a recommended age of 7+. Players eager to find out more about how the game works can already take a look at the rulebook posted on the Plaid Hat Game website.
Eric Summerer has provided a rules overview over on youtube. If Eric’s voice on the video seems familiar it may be because you’ve listened to some of the hundreds of audiobooks and other voiceover projects Mr. Summerer has worked on.

The first week of September will be bringing three new original titles from the publisher Cool Mini or Not – The Others: 7 Sins, Looterz, and Unusual Suspects will all join CMON’s ever growing catalog of quality production titles. Note that the release date has currently been confirmed to be September 2nd, but there is always a possibility for delays in the shipping process.
The Others: 7 Sins is a Kickstarter success coming to retail showcasing the quality miniatures CMON is known for, all under a new theme and graphic style. Designed by Eric Lang, one player will control the physical manifestations of sins while up to 4 other players control heroes seeking to suppress and interrupt their invasion. Featuring a modular board and elegant, fun combat mechanics you can expect from an Eric Lang design, The Others offers a lot to be excited about.
In Looterz, 2 to 6 players race to empty a cavern with the most loot in tow using their looting minions strategically to grab as much as possible, or even steal from other players. Each game will have players recruiting the eponymous looterz, activating them in any desired order, and rolling dice based on the looterz stats to determine the amount of loot grabbed.
In Unusual Suspects, one player is a witness and up to seventeen others are suspects. Only the witness knows who the guilty party is, but can only answer simply and concisely. The other players must use these answers to find out who among them is the truly guilty party. The game can be played competitively or cooperatively, with the latter being played using a grid of suspects and the witness only being able to answer in a yes/no fashion.
