Each player strives to climb the stairs of power with the ultimate goal of becoming the new king.
The game contains:
- 36 Territory tiles
- 1 score board
- 1 First Player token
- 112 wooden pawns:
28 knights 20 cities
- 84 tokens

Following on the heels of their hit Cyclades comes the expansion Cyclades Titans which expands and transforms gameplay from being simply every man for himself and allows for both team play with either 4 or 6 players or individual play with 3 to 5 players.
There is more action in this “titanic” expansion with an enhanced role for metropolises. The stars Titans will play a key role in battles on cyclades;
In addition to adding team play they have also introduced a different board consisting of two larger islands that players are trying to control territories on as opposed to having many smaller islands.
With various different other additions to the game including the Titans named in the game, along with bonuses due to Kronos involvement, and finally a new way of winning the game using a new element called divine artifacts. With all of the new additions additions this is building up to an interesting new way of playing the game Cyclades.
