Tumblin’ Dice has actually been around for quite some time. For those not familiar with this fun “dexterity” game this version is being reprinted by Eagle-Gryphon Games and developed by creator Rick Soued. This new version, available to Kickstart here, will feature several new versions and has a variety of stretch goals including a variety of die, cool custom variants, and more!

Spit it Out
A party game where you will answer six easy questions wrong to get them right. If that wasn’t weird enough, you will have a short time limit to answer the questions your brain is hardwired to answer correctly. Each wrong answer can only be given once, but sometimes you have to give the correct answer as well. Sounds like a fun, whacky, party game for the whole family. The game is for 3-8 players, ages 10+ and plays in 20-30 minutes.

- 2 Dice
- 1 Score pad

You will have to move fast since they are all up for grabs and the first to collect three cups wins the game. The game is for 2-8 players, ages 6+ and plays in 10-20 minutes.
- 9 Cup-A-Cups

Steve Jackson Games the makers of Munchkin, Zombie Dice, and Chez Geek have announced a partnership with Topps to put out a number of games based off of the Garbage Pail Kids property. This seems like a fairly logical move on SJG’s part because they have some very good systems developed in their small dice games. Since the games being released are either dice or dexterity games this should be a great partnership and who knows maybe there will be Garbage Pail Kids Munchkin one of these days.

Steve Jackson Games and Topps have partnered to create a pair of games based on Topps’ Garbage Pail Kids trading cards. At New York Comic Con, October 9, Steve Jackson Games unveiled Garbage Pail Kids: Super Snot Shots, a limited-edition dexterity game that’s as gross as it sounds. Fans at NYCC can pick the game up at booth 2265 during the convention, and they can find it at Warehouse 23 (warehouse23.com) for a limited time afterward.
In 2015, Steve Jackson Games will release Garbage Pail Kids: Disgusting Dice Game, a brand-new game from the makers of Mars Attacks: The Dice Game. This game uses classic Garbage Pail Kids art, has custom dice, and will be released in time to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Garbage Pail Kids trading cards.
“I’ve always loved Garbage Pail Kids,” said Phil Reed, COO of Steve Jackson Games. “I grew up with them, and to be able to make games based on those cards is a dream come true. I can’t wait for fans to see these games. They’re gross!”
Gallient Games has launched their second Kickstarter campaign 5pax two player dice games. This name is a little deceptive in that they have actually fit 10 games into a little tiny box. These are great little compact games. The Dice Tower networks own Dan King did a preview of these games showing off 5 of the 10 games.
There is a wide variety of games ranging from strategy and bluffing games to dexterity games. With games able to accommodate from 1-4 players these act as a great versatile filler.
Originally our plan was to have 5 sets of 5 games, the first being the core pack and the others being expansions. In reviewing our initial offering we decided that it made sense to just go ahead and include 10 games in the core package instead of 5, but the name stuck. It’s cool, short and easy to remember, even if the number 5 has no real significance.
Having stated that they still intend to fill this out with the full cadre of 25 games this is a great start for your collection.
If this project interests you and for more details on the project including the video preview by Dan King and a separate preview featuring all 10 games done by Grey Elephant Games visit the Kickstarter here.
By popular demand, Mayday Games is bringing you a very limited offer for Bling Bling Gemstone. Limited to just 500 copies, get it while you can! The closing date on Kickstarter is May 18, 2014, the current pledged amount is $12,131 and the funding goal for the project is $5,000. A $29 pledge gets you a copy of the game shipped within the US. The estimated delivery date is Jun 2014.
