Indie Boards and Cards is currently running a very brief Kickstarter to fund a fun, silly card game called Baby Blues, a game that was a hit at Essen 2016 and was published by Jumping Turtle Games. Now, Jumping Turtle Games has partnered with Indie Boards and Cards to release an English language version of the game.
In the game, players are working at a day care center trying to keep the babies happy. Happy babies score points, crying babies do not. Here is an excerpt from the Kickstarter game description:
Each turn you can play as many Green (good) cards and one Red or Orange (bad) card on one of your opponents. Red & Orange cards are misfortune events that make babies cry – like poopy diapers and taking their pacifier. Green cards comfort your babies, changing diapers and feeding. Any unhappy baby at the end of your turn will cry and is out of the game.
A copy of the game includes:
- 25 Player Cards (5 each in 5 player colors)
- 20 Unhappy Baby Tokens
- 66 Event Cards (41 Misfortune, 25 Comfort)
