Nickelodeon’s Invader Zim Doomsday Dice Game

IDW Games are publishing Nickelodeon’s Invader Zim Doomsday Dice Game. Invader Zim is an American, animated TV series which centres around an extra-terrestrial named Zim from the planet Irk. Zim, along with his malfunctioning, robot servant GIR, is determined to conquer the earth and is constantly thwarted by Dib, a young paranormal investigator.

In Invader Zim Doomsday Dice Game, 2-4 players play either as Zim or GIR working for the Almighty Tallest Irkin Lords, or as Dib or Agent Darkbootie working to protect the earth through The Swollen Eyeball Network. Players will draw cards to build a krazy machine to either destroy the earth (as ZIM or GIR) or save it (as Dib or Agent Darkbootie). Matching cards can be connected to earn power surges that let players roll a big Power Surge die. The more rolls they make the more power they can generate. There is also a tiny Special Die with its own abilities. However, rolling either die can end in a fizzle or malfunction which costs the players all the energy they’ve earned or can even break the machine. The first player to 100 energy wins.

Invader Zim Doomsday Dice Game comes in collectible, tin packaging and plays in 20-30 minutes. It’s designed by Spencer Reeve, caters for players aged 14+ and is expected to release September 26th, 2018.
