Polish publishing company Phalanx has announced three new titles and discussed their award winning board game app.
In December of 2015, Phalanx released a game based on the Penguins of Madagascar. In the game the four penguins must carry out missions in the Central Park Zoo, all while avoiding the watchful eye of Officer X. The Penguins game comes with two rules variants, one for younger children and one for families. An English version has not yet been announced.
Phalanx has announced that they will be partnering with ASYNCRON Games and Asylum Games Editorial to create a third reprint of the game 1944: Race to the Rhine. The new reprint will not change any of the previous rules. They have also announced Red Ball Express, a limited expansion to the game that will help reduce randomness and introduces other gameplay elements.
Later this year they will also publish a 20th anniversary edition of Hannibal: Rome vs. Carthage in Polish.
Hannibal Rome vs Carthage still considered one of the best two player games ever published. This game has gone through a very well thought out update. It is now easier and faster to play. It plays considerably shorter. It is graphically more appealing. It is even better than it used to be. And there is more in the box: another stand-alone game: Hamilcar.
Finally, Phalanx is proud to announce that their app for the game Brass was nominated for a Golden Geek award. The game was the second best iPad board game of 2015. It’s also the second best Board Game Port of the Year according to the BGG.
