Denver, CO (Jan. 28, 2012) – Common Man Games is pleased to announce its first ever Kickstarter project for their first Original release Police Precinct.
Starting Jan. 28, Common Man Games has Launched Police Precinct, a fun and exciting new project. http://www.kickstarter.com/
“Common Man is very excited to be using Kickstarter for the first time. I have watched the site for a while now, and seen some great projects, so I wanted to throw my hat in the ring and give it a try” said Karl Fenner, CEO of Common Man Games.
“Ole is great to work with, and his design is fantastic. It really captures the feel of being a detective on the squad. I am a big fan of co-operative games!”
Common Man Games is currently talking to George Patsouras (Flashpoint) to commission art for the project.
“We are very excited to have the chance to work with George. His cover for Flashpoint was AMAZING!”
Common Man Games is hoping Police Precinct will make it’s funding goals and they can start work on the art right away.
“My goal is to hire George right after the project is (hopefully) funded” said Karl.” I am giving myself plenty of time because I want to do it right”.
Police Precinct is scheduled to begin production on March 1st (with your help on Kickstarter) and Karl is hoping for an October 2012 release.
“I am very happy that Karl was willing to help me try to raise the funds to make Police Precinct” said Ole Steiness, Designer of Police Precinct. “I have been working hard on the design for two years, and have shown the game to a few other publishers, but Common Man just felt right and was ready to take action right away. Karl is a great guy and I really like his drive to find quality games.”
