For those of you anxiously awaiting the second printing of Jonathan Ying’s Bargain Quest, you can now also look forward to a brand new expansion, too! This fun little game of adventure and capitalism will offer even more must have items for heroes to choose from.
In Bargain Quest, players take on the role of shopkeeper trying to attract adventuring heroes to their shop over their opponents. Each player will secretly draft from a deck of items to place in their shop windows and then help equip their heroes for an upcoming ad kkiventure. Players earn money to upgrade their shop and hire employees based on how their hero fares in battle.
The Black Market expansion will offer players more heroes, employees, and play modes. A new shipment of items will also be available to entice heroes to battle the new monsters.
Gather up to eight of your friends to see who can run the most successful shop with the most gold and prestige. Renegade Games will be releasing the Black Market expansion in May 2019. Don’t worry if you missed out on the Kickstarter for the base game. It will be available through Renegade Games once the Kickstarter fulfillment is completed.

With the first rotation looming in the near future, players of Fantasy Flight Games hit CCG, Star Wars: Destiny, were anxious. The rotation removes all the cards from the original Awakenings set from standard play, including Star Wars’s best baddie, Darth Vader. Speculation and rumors were confirmed when FFG spoiled new cards from the upcoming Way of the Galaxy set in their most recent announcement.
A new and improved Darth Vader will come crashing onto the scene and he’s bringing quite a few thematic and synergized cards with him. Darth Vader’s light saber makes its first appearance in the game. It’s a long anticipated upgrade that appears to be well worth the wait. The spoilers also introduced Vader’s Fist, a support card and nod to the 501st Legion who served Vader throughout the Clone Wars.
While the Legacies block has introduced plenty of cards that rely on spotting specific characters, Across the Galaxy introduces several cards that are enhanced by the presence of Darth Vader. The Dark Lord of the Sith is already a terror to behold. With these new tools, who can possibly stop Vader from spreading fear across the galaxy?
No official release date has been announced from Fantasy Flight games but it is anticipated soon. Be sure to check out your local FLGS for more information and to get involved in your local scene!

Fasten your seatbelt and get ready to shift into high gear! Getaway Driver will put you in the hot seat of a high speed chase. In this two-player, asymmetrical game, take on the role of the getaway driver and pull out all the right moves to outrun the police. Or, save the day as you coordinate the police effort to stop that crazy driver in her tracks.
From the creative minds of Jeff Beck and Ryan Goldsberry, who brought you Word Domination and Hardback, this fast-paced game lets you build the city by placing tiles as you play. Prepare yourself for all new art work from Ryan Goldsberry from the Burgle Bros universe on each card and tile. Getaway Driver sets up in as little as 3 minutes, plays in 30-45 minutes, and is easy to take with you on the go! This game is looking for drivers aged 12 and up.
Uniqueness and Fun in One Little Package
Getaway Driver can be played anywhere and takes your natural location into account as you build the city. Your coffee mug becomes a lake. Don’t get too close to the edge of the table or you’ll fall off a cliff. As the driver, you fly around the city trying to collect stash scattered around. But watch out, the police could be tailing you, and they’ll move as you move and set up barriers to stop you from escaping the city. Use stunt cards to jump a ramp and land just out of the police’s reach or lead them straight into a hazard!
“Getaway Driver is a tense and strategic game. Each turn, the Police secretly build out the city and move their vehicles, working to corner the Driver and steer them towards the areas of the city that expand the police force… If the last city tile is placed, the Driver escapes out of town. However, if the police increase the pursuit meter to its final space, the Driver is caught.”
