One of the things we like encouraging at the Dice Tower is the development and promotion of the hobby. Across the country you see many board game cafes opening up and smack dab inbetween Ann Arbor and Detroit is the town of Plymouth, Michigan which has one of the newest board game cafes 3&up.
This cafe is as you might guess from the name for people 3 and up. It is solidly in the family friendly camp. With an emphasis on disconnecting from electronics and focusing on the people around you. This seems to be a rather novel thing as of late. As a store they charge per person to game there plus they offer food and drink. Because they do make some of their money of paid admission they do allow outside food and drink into the store.
If this sounds interesting to you and you are in or around the greater Detroit area stop in there sometime. I am sure they would love to have you.
They are located at 630 S Main St, Plymouth, MI.
